On June 2nd, Moderator Lawrence Martin of the Globe and Mail and representatives of the major federal political parties took part in a lively panel discussion of each party’s foreign policy priorities going into the next election. The discussion included the NDP’s Paul Dewar, the Liberal’s Marc Garneau, and the Green’s Elizabeth May. The Conservative Party was invited to take part in the panel discussion but it advised that a representative would be unable to participate due to travel and other commitments.
With a turnout of over 230 people, this event sets a new attendance record for the CIC National Capital Branch’s evening speaker series!
