Yesterday’s events in Ottawa remind us that our role, but as individuals and as a collectivity within our group is of most importance, a role of proposal for better policies to ensure that our world is a better place, more secure and prosperous for all. During our September 24 meeting, we discussed different possibilities to better play our role and dynamise our monthly meetings. I hope that you will note positive changes in the coming months as we will start implementing many of these suggestions.
It is with pleasure that I inform you that Gwen Temmel just joined our small executive group to provide support to the secretariat. I invite you all to volunteer for a theme in particular, among the themes identified in the minutes of our September 24 meeting (please look at the meetings section), or to brief us on a country specific issue such as the situation in South Sudan.
